No. SquareBuild is a labour-only operation. You purchase all materials directly from suppliers. We manage those materials on site — tracking usage, preventing wastage, and ensuring they are used correctly. This keeps your costs fully transparent and removes any possibility of us inflating a material budget.

Payments are released in stages aligned with physical progress. Before Stage 2 is paid, Stage 1 must be completed and verified. Before Stage 3 is paid, Stage 2 must be verified. The final payment releases only after a full client walkthrough confirms everything is complete. You are never financially ahead of your physical build.

Yes. SquareBuild serves the full Greater Harare area — Chitungwiza, Ruwa, Norton, Marondera, Kadoma, Chegutu, Mazowe, Bindura, Chinhoyi — and can mobilise to any location in Zimbabwe for the right project. Contact us to discuss logistics for your specific location.

Start dates depend on current project commitments and your site readiness. We give you a realistic start date when we produce your quotation — and we honour it. Contact us to assess current availability for your timeline.

For a new build, yes — a council-approved building plan is required before any ground is broken legally. If you don't have one yet, we can guide you to the right professional to have one prepared. For smaller works like tiling, plastering, or renovations, a full plan is not required — a clear brief and site visit are sufficient.

Yes. Always. We do not charge for quotations, site visits, or plan reviews. We invest time in producing an accurate quote because we want clients who proceed based on transparency. If we've quoted you and you choose someone else, we genuinely hope you made the right choice for your project.
